This unitfeatures a removable microSD card for detailed mapping memory and awaterproof, rugged housing. The microSD card slot is located inside thewaterproof battery compartment. Users can load map data and transferroutes and waypoints through the unit??s fast USB connection.

Inaddition, this unit features a new, highly sensitive GPS receiver thatacquires satellites faster and lets users track their location inchallenging conditions, such as heavy foliage or deep canyons. TheGPSMAP 60CSx also incorporates a barometric altimeter for extremelyaccurate elevation data and an electronic compass that displays anaccurate heading while standing still.
